Zafferano partners with the event “LANDSCAPE FESTIVAL – THE MASTERS OF THE LANDSCAPE” 2020

The installation planned for Green Square 2020, designed by studio DeLucchi AMDL Circle, is illuminated by Poldina, the iconic portable and rechargeable lamps by Zafferano.
Now in its 10th edition, the “LANDSCAPE FESTIVAL – THE MASTERS OF THE LANDSCAPE” event will be held from 5 to 20 September 2020 in Bergamo Città Alta. The focus of this year’s project will be the setting up in Piazza Vecchia, whose symbol is the table: a “support base” from which to start over and look to the future. Fifty-nine tables of different sizes make up the towers imagined by DeLucchi which will house vases containing various forest plants and fifty dark gray Poldina lamps.
Powered by a rechargeable battery, the Poldina lamp is wireless and can be carried anywhere and used outside the normal places of use – for example gardens and outdoor spaces of the house: the IP54 protection index makes it impermeable to humidity and rain. Federico de Majo, founder and designer of the company, comments: “We enthusiastically joined this edition, organized in a very special year for Bergamo. The pandemic has hardly hit this area, depriving its inhabitants of health and opportunities for socializing. Our participation this year has one more motivation: the desire to express closeness to the people of Bergamo, also through a concrete gesture of solidarity. The Poldina lamps will in fact be sold for the “Green to the People” fundraiser, intended for the realization of a garden at the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital.”
