Jeannie Cho Lee, the first person to achieve in Asia the prestigious title of "Master of Wine", is considered one of the most influential personalities in the world of wine, internationally. Distributed exclusively in Europe by Zafferano, the JCL set she designed consists of three hand-made and mouth-blown glasses in superior sound glass. The models, all very light, are united by the carefully studied shape of the drinks and the very feminine design of the stem. Jeannie describes the chalices by their acronym: "I worked for three years on this collection, to make the most versatile, useful and beautiful chalices. When it is tasted in the glass that best suits its style for shape, size, proportions and quality, the wine sings in a different shade: it becomes more refined, expressive and complex." The name of the three models - JCL8C, JCL15C and JCL18C -refers to a very important element for proper tasting: the degrees centigrade at which wine should ideally be served, in that specific glass.
