This season, we've selected some of our favourite fabric designs from iconic British designer and maker of fine fabrics Fermoie, all hand-drawn and traditionally produced in Wiltshire, England. Working closely with the British manufacturer each fabric has been hand-picked to create a capsule collection of hand-made lampshades for the cordless lamp Poldina. The capsule collection of gathered lampshades in Popple and Wicker are made in sheer linen and each is available in two hues across the Fermoie colour families. The collection has been skillfully designed and hand-made to fit over the fixed Poldina lampshade. Fermoie shares our commitment to creating timeless designs that are easy to live with and bring joy to any home.
Established in 2010, Fermoie is a creator of fine fabrics, lampshades and accessories all designed and manufactured entirely in-house using its own proprietary colour-mixing and production techniques. Every Fermoie design begins with the drawn line, with the full repeat pattern meticulously created by hand, on paper, before it’s translated to screen engraving. Every colour is individually created, mixed and edited in-house according to our carefully considered palette and artistic principles.
