It is the glass objects that come out of Federico de Majo's pencil that animate “The City of Glass,” the new stained glass catalog that will be previewed at Maison&Objet. Along with proposals for new color variants for some of the lines, new additions to this catalog are the two handcrafted collections Losanghe, in mass-colored glass, and Petoni, in borosilicate glass. Added to these are the inclusion of the Bilia bottle to match the glasses, the new Tirache centerpiece cup format, and the reissue of Ciompo, the handcrafted colored candle holders. Additional variants, however, have been introduced in Melting Pot: transparent-grey, aquamarine-green and yellow-grey complement the existing ones, thus coming to offer a variety of seven two-color and eight single-color proposals. Also new for the Tirache series, with the inclusion of centerpiece cups in the two variants aquamarine-blue and aquamarine-apple green.
