On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2026, Zafferano takes part in “Il Giardino delle Meraviglie”, a project by door magazine dedicated to outdoor design, taking place from April 20 to 26 at Palazzo Crivelli, in the heart of the Brera Design District.
The event brings together installations, talks, and moments of insight, combining architecture, art, and design in a contemporary narrative of outdoor living.Within this context, Zafferano presents two projects that represent its journey in the world of cordless lighting.
The first is Poldina Mega, an oversized version of the brand’s iconic lamp, created to celebrate its 25th anniversary: an everyday object reinterpreted on a monumental scale, engaging with the space and amplifying its presence, becoming both a scenic element and a meeting point. The lamp is part of the “Biblioteca dell’outdoor”, an exhibition path dedicated to outdoor products, conceived as an “open-air archive”. Here, a selection of outdoor furniture and accessories is displayed on shelving inspired by a library, like a collection to explore.
In the garden of Palazzo Crivelli, three Perpetua lamps, designed by Brogliato Traverso, will also be on display: a highly innovative collection that introduces a new approach to cordless lighting, thanks to a replaceable power system that allows continuous use over time.
Integrated into the exhibition path, Zafferano lamps interact with the environment and the other elements of the installation, contributing to an experience where light, nature, and design come together.
