For the 2026 sailing season, Zafferano is supporting the activities of MicroClass Italia ASD, an association that has been promoting and fostering sailing throughout Italy since 2011. The collaboration includes the placement of the Zafferano logo on the association’s boat, Strambai, which will take part in the official MicroClass Italia calendar of regattas, events, and activities dedicated to this sailing class.

MicroClass is an accessible and versatile class of sailboats designed to bring more people closer to the world of sailing. Measuring approximately 5.5 meters in length and designed to accommodate four crew members, these boats combine compact dimensions, ease of transport, and a sporting spirit. Thanks to their retractable keel, they can be easily transported on a trailer, while the cabin makes them suitable not only for racing but also for leisure sailing and short cruises.

These very characteristics—ease of use, conviviality, and the idea of sailing that is open to everyone—are what drew Zafferano to the MicroClass Italia project: a democratic, authentic, and accessible vision that reflects the brand’s approach to design and everyday living.
