"One of the most beautiful sunsets in the Mediterranean," is how Ischia-based chef Nino Di Costanzo - of the two-Michelin-star “Dani Maison” - describes the new project he started with pizza Master Ivano Veccia and Venetian entrepreneur Federico de Majo. Lisola is a restaurant set in a 1927 green tuff cave, surrounded by lush garden and offering breathtaking views over the island of Ventotene. The space, designed by architect Marco Raia, features a contemporary style, with a predominance of earthy tones. The atmosphere of simplicity and warmth is enhanced by Zafferano products that enrich every area: Federico de Majo selected Sfera and Bilia blown-glass suspension lamps for the pizzeria and grill areas; while the mise en place plays with the shapes and colors of plates, Esperienze wine glasses, Losanghe tumblers and Liolà side tables. On every table, the micro version of Poldina creates intimate, non-invasive lighting. The restaurant offers Mediterranean and traditional cuisine, where the boundaries between kitchen, pizza and charcoal grill harmoniously blend.
