The Taurachbahn in Salzburg's Lungau is considered the highest narrow-gauge railway in Austria. For more than 130 years, railway history has been kept alive here on 760 mm gauge track. This is made possible by the volunteers of the Club 760 – Freunde der Murtalbahn, whose members are dedicated to preserving historic rolling stock and running the line.

Since the 2026 season, the Taurachbar has been part of the historic train. The carefully restored bar carriage combines the charm of past railway eras with contemporary hospitality. It is a place to linger and share convivial moments, surrounded by interiors in warm wood tones.

The carriage is lit by Pina table lamps, in metallic finishes. Cordless and rechargeable, they can be placed freely on the tables without altering the historic interior. Their warm light enhances the wood and accompanies the journey through the Lungau landscape.

In the Taurachbar, Italian design culture meets Austrian railway tradition, brought together by a shared love of hospitality and special moments along the way.
