Shipping methods and costs
We can only accept orders for delivery within the national territories specified in the options on the order form. We are entitled not to accept orders for delivery to islands and remote areas.
Shipments to P.O. boxes are not accepted.
Delivery costs are charged based on the following rates:
- delivery is free in Italy for orders over 49€, below this figure delivery costs are €9.50;
- In Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Slovakia, Hungary and Slovenia: delivery is free for orders over 99€; below this figure, delivery costs are €15;
- delivery costs to Finland, Portugal, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia are €25;
- delivery costs to Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia and Ireland are €30;
- delivery costs to Sweden are €45.
The cost of delivery to locations on the islands of Greece, Croatia and Spain is subject to verification.
Billing Information
We issue an invoice only when specifically requested by the Customer, before placing the order to eshop@zafferanoitalia.com.
The invoice will be issued based on the information provided by the Customer at the time of ordering, which must include your company details, with the Tax Code, VAT number and Unique code.
No changes can be made after the invoice has been issued.
In other cases, the sale will be treated for fiscal purposes as a distance sale, in which case it is not mandatory to attach the sales receipt.
Delivery method and time
We will ship the products ordered by the Customer by Courier to the address provided by the Customer, approximately within 3 working days of the order being accepted. Delivery generally takes place within 4-5 working days.
The timeframe given for the delivery of the goods is indicative. At certain times of the year, due to high demand, there might be delays in the shipment of orders.
The Courier is responsible for delivery. We undertake to collect any reports of non-delivery or delayed delivery of products through our Customer Service and assist Customers in order to protect their rights as required by law.
Unless explicitly specified by our Customer Service, delivery will be made at street level.
Upon delivery of the goods by the Courier, you are required to check:
- that the number of packages delivered matches the number specified on the transport document;
- that the packaging is intact, not damaged or wet, or otherwise altered, including the sealing materials (adhesive tape or metal strapping).
Any damage to the packaging and/or to the product, or any mismatch in the number of packages or in the information, must be immediately reported by writing “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION” on the Courier's delivery note.
Once the Courier's delivery note has been signed, you will not be entitled to make any objection regarding the external characteristics of the delivered goods.
In the event of failure to collect, within 5 working days, the goods stored at the Courier's warehouses due to the recurring failure to deliver to the address specified by the Customer at the time of ordering, the order will be automatically cancelled, in which case we will refund the amount received as payment, after deducting any costs for attempted and unsuccessful delivery.
Problems and/or returns
Any problems regarding the physical integrity, correspondence or completeness of the products received must be reported, attaching photos of the packaging and the damaged goods within 8 days of delivery, by e-mail to the address: eshop@zafferanoitalia.com
As required by law, we accept the return of products, for a full refund, provided that they are new and unused, within 14 working days of receipt of the goods. The refund of the price paid for the purchased product does not include shipping costs, which are the full responsibility of the Customer who wishes to withdraw from the purchase.
