Lamps and tableware by Zafferano at the Sale Apollinee for the Italian premiere of Richard III at the Teatro La Fenice

On the occasion of the Italian premiere of Richard III by Giorgio Battistelli, held at the Teatro La Fenice on 29 June, products designed by Zafferano were used in the setting up of the Sale Apollinee. Stripe and Poldina lamps, Esperienze wine glasses, Tirache and Bilia tumblers, accompanied by matching carafes, are the items selected by the curators who set up the Sale Apollinee at the Venetian theatre for the dinner after the performance.

Richard III, an opera in two acts, libretto by Ian Burton based on the play by William Shakespeare, was staged with the scenery of Opera Vlaanderen of Antwerp and directed by Robert Carsen. Stage sets and costumes were by Radu Boruzescu, with light design by Robert Carsen and Peter Van Praet.
