Christmas is coming near and Comunità Nuova Onlus has invited us to participate in the events that it usually organizes at this time of year; “Un pranzo di Natale… Un pranzo solidale” (“A Christmas lunch…..a lunch in the name of solidarity”) and the charity sale “A noi ci frega lo sguardo… On Sunday 11th December at the CN HUB, the hub of Comunità Nuova Onlus in Milan, for the first time these two events will be held together, combining the lunch realized by the chef Davide Oldani, in collaboration with Andrea Berton, with the charity auction that has now reached its fourth edition. The lots to be auctioned will be donated by Denis Curti, by the companies E. Rancati, Richard Ginori and Zafferano, and will be sold by the well-known auction house Christie’s. For our part, we shall realize an exclusive limited edition of three handcrafted wine-glasses in Murano glass designed by Anna Barbara and Federico de Majo. This will be a great occasion for all art enthusiasts to purchase photographs by famous photographers, film memorabilia and valuable lots decorated by a variety of Italian designers, artists and celebrities which will make the pieces at auction unique. Participation in the event by reservation only.
This new version of “A noi ci frega lo sguardo…” has been realized thanks to the collaboration of Denis Curti for the photography section, Cristina and Romolo Sormani for the cinema section, Anna Barbara, Stefania Vaccari of Frigoriferi Milanesi, with the collaboration of Alessandro Guerriero who have selected, coordinated and organized the design and Antonella Crippa of Open Care for the work of design consulting. All proceeds will go to support the community of the Barrhouse children and fund the projects and initiatives that will be set up over the next few months in CN HUB.
