Supporting the Teatro La Fenice and being in Venice

What excitement at the inauguration of the new opera and ballet season with “Don Carlo” by Verdi at the Teatro La Fenice opera house!
For the past three years, we have chosen to support the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice in order to help promote, together with other partners, music and culture because we also believe that design, which we are devoted to every day, is also in perfect harmony with this initiative.
However, this year, on seeing the lights of the curtain light up for the inauguration, which was so at risk due to the exceptionally high water in Venice on the night of 12th November and on the following days, we were moved and filled with joy and pride. This is because we feel actively involved in the Teatro Fenice, which, along with its city, never loses heart and remains a symbol of strength and rebirth.
We are also delighted that our Poldina lamps lit up the tables at the welcome reception. The gold leaf version, in particular, gleamed in the prestigious Apollinee Rooms.
For us, the New Year’s Concert is now approaching. The limited edition of the wine glass we have created for Teatro La Fenice as a gift for the audience on 1st January, will also involve a surprise this year!
