The first limited edition of the “lieto calice” premiers at the New Year’s Concert held at the Teatro La Fenice
The 15th edition of the New Year’s Concert at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, conducted by Myung-Whun Chung, was the official event for the beginning of the new partnership between Zafferano, as a Supporting Member, and the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice di Venezia. At the event, co-produced by the Fondazione Teatro La Fenice di Venezia and Rai Cultura, with the collaboration of Arte, the guests attending the Concert on 1 January were presented with a limited edition of the “lieto calice” of La Fenice opera house with all good wishes for the New Year.
The wine glass from the Esperienze collection designed by Federico de Majo, inspired by the opera “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi and customised with the logo of the Teatro La Fenice of Venice was presented for the first time last September along with Fortunato Ortombina, the new CEO and artistic director of the Teatro La Fenice. The “lieto calice”, with its special packaging, is among the merchandise on sale at the theatre bookshop.
