Mystery Art & Food Society, featuring a mise en place by Zafferano

On 21 September, during Milan Fashion Week, for the exclusive evening at “55 Fiftyfive”, Milan, Zafferano prepared the mise en place. It was a unique event, created and led by Chef Ljubica Komlenic, with the collaboration of Giovanni Macrì and Paolo Quadrini, respectively the owner and the manager of the 55 Fiftyfive lounge restaurant.

Zafferano’s Vem wine glasses and Tirache tumblers were chosen as tableware. The new Poldina lamp, one of the latest products to enter the AiLati catalogue, was an essential item that created an atmosphere of light and shade.

This outstanding location, with prestigious guests and a total black dress code, saw the addition of the creativity and spirit of initiative of Ljubica Komlenic, a top Italian chef and the mastermind and organiser of the evening. Not only was a Michelin-starred dinner served but also a show within a show, where music, art and design came together for an exclusive event with an atmosphere of mystery.

Chef Ljubica Komlenic was accompanied in the kitchen by other prestigious chefs: Igles Corelli, Viviana Varese, Francesco Sposito and Massimo Fezzardi. Not to mention the pastry chef Fabrizio Galla, the talent pastry chef Nicolò Moschella and the champion of the chocolate world Davide Comaschi. One of Italy’s most expert bakers, Ezio Marinato, and the ice cream chef Antonio Mezzalira, a champion in the ice cream world, also took part in the event.
And last but not least, Ljubica Komlenic, in the double role of chef and organiser, and the master of Italian pastry chef masters, Iginio Massari.
This collaboration was based on professionalism, friendship and solidarity, since the evening was also intended to raise funds for charity.
