Travelling to Salina for the first Summer Edition of CARE’s, from 21 to 24 May

After the success of the winter edition, the first Summer Edition of CARE’s – The ethical Chef Days will arrive in Salina from 21 to 24 May. Together we will embark on this trip from the snow to the sea, from the mountains to volcanoes, to arrive at this event that brings together international chefs, professionals in the catering sector, journalists and entrepreneurs. The main topics of discussion will include ethics, sustainability, taking care of the territory and environmental protection. We believe in these issues and are glad to support by providing our products.
#summeredition 2017 of CARE’s: a new journey towards a new destination, a culinary adventure, where ethical values are once again best expressed in dishes and experiences of such a special place. The numbers involved are 18 chefs from all over the globe, 3 conferences and 16 speakers, who all share the same goal of bringing together two apparently different yet truly similar areas. It is a unique scenario (the Dolomites and the archipelago of the Aeolian Islands are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites), where the aim is to go beyond the theme of “cuisine” to ensure that everyone is more aware and involved in sustainability in two areas that are different yet often interconnected.
CARE’s – The ethical Chef Days is a project created by Norbert Niederkofler, star-winning chef at Ristorante St. Hubertus (Hotel Rosa Alpina in San Cassiano) and by Paolo Ferretti, owner of the communication agency HMC in Bolzano, with the contribution of Giancarlo Morelli, star-winning chef and patron of Pomiroeu in Seregno.
